sharing my life..

last night i was trying to get rid of the thing on my foot that has been causing me pain while wearing shoes for some time.. then a reminder came to me.. it might be very painful to get to the root of things but if you don't get to the root, the wound will never heal.. it will jus keep coming back to haunt you.. and if you already know what the issue is and you don't know how to go about tackling it then you should seek help.. (the green portion is what i was reminded today as i reflected through things)

actually this reminder is applicable in every situation.. especially true for you to find out what is the sin that is causing you to do or react the way you do to people and especially to God.. burying it deeper doesn't help.. sweeping it aside doesn't help.. leaving it as it is doesn't help..

the thing you should do is:
1) dig deeper into your heart to know where is the root no matter how pain it may cause you..
2) then realised how much damage it had caused you and how much has it hurt God to see you like that struggling with that sin in your life..
3) repent to God for the sin in your life.. ask Him to help you change..
4) guard your heart well to not fall again..
5) be accountable to someone so that he/she can help you out with your struggle..

"9 Two is better than one, because they have a good return of their work: 10 If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up."

- Ecclesiastes 4:9-10-

i think God is really very creative in preparing the heart of His people.. haha.. the reminder came to me is sort of a starter for the things that He is going to reveal to me through a sister, Xingni.. in fact, He has been slowly revealing this sin (also my character flaw) in my life in the past one month or so.. it wasn't exactly a painful process cos of many reasons.. but the intensity of the pain, damage and hurt that the sin has caused came slaming on my face after the starter.. then you will know what heart pain really means.. haha.. really pain.. but doesn't mean you will have to keep dwelling in that pain.. you will have to pick yourself up and make it right with God.. then with the people that have been affected..

"10 For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There's no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death. 11 Just see what this godly sorrow produced in you! Such earnestness, such concern to clear yourselves, such indignation, such alarm, such longing to see me, such zeal and such a readiness to punish wrong. You showed that you have done everything necessary to make things right."

it took me 3 years.. very long.. but not too late.. how long would it take for you to realised yours?
don't take the long way and waste time away.. you are only hurting God, people you love and even yourself..

i want to hate this sin as God hates it.. and i need God to help me with it.. please pray for me that i would able to stand firm and turn away from this sin in my life.. and be freed from it's bondage..
i will be a victorious overcomer with God..
