my convocation..

finally i have graduated from NTU after 4 years of studies.. haha.. very happy to have come thus far.. yet i feel burdened as there will other challenges staring right in front of me.. nevertheless, i am very happy and proud to have graduated.. =)

i find it so true cos i am one of them.. lol.. so sad rite? but i'm learning to love and accept people for who they are..

actually people reject others for many reasons.. with some of them being self-righteousness, wanting to feel superior towards that others and scare of getting hurt.. so let us really check our hearts today.. if it is the first reason then maybe you should ask yourself if you are really such a good person that you have not sin at all? if it is the second reason then maybe you should ask yourself why you feeling so insecure? and if it is the last reason, maybe you should ask yourself if you have let anyone down or hurt anyone before? no one is perfect.. you can't want the benefits of a relationship and reject the down side of a relationship..

it is greatly emphasized that without love, everything else means nothing at all.. and the main theme of the whole bible is also love.. whether is it God's love for us or we are to love God and love people.. to love is to put our heart, soul, mind and strength to it meaning giving your all.. love is the one thing that show people you care and the one thing that brings people closer to one another.. it is also the thing that makes work (no matter how difficult) a joyful thing to do..

God is the source of love.. we are to go to Him for love when we need and lack.. loving others comes from the overflow of the love of God that fills you.. as human love is limited..

"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."

a meet-up with sarah before she goes over to melbourne to study.. the 4 of us, zhen cong, lai quin, sarah and me.. we have known each other since JC 1 which was quite a while ago.. haha.. it was fun.. meeting up to catch up and have good food together.. :) really hope this friendship will continue on forever more.. haha.. that would be so when zhen cong also becomes a believer.. we will really be friends for eternity.. haha..
