reflection outing...

had a long day on Saturday.. a lot things to think through.. so sihua and me decided to go on a reflection trip.. we went for dinner at soup spoon.. our fave place.. lol.. then we went esplanade roof top to do our reflections.. saw a lot of people there especially couples..

it was a good place to hang out actually and do reflections also.. it was quite a fruitful time.. had quite some learning and understanding.. we shared with each other what have God spoken to each of us.. will update on the next post about my reflections and some of sihua's..

So some photos to share:

sihua thinks that her soup pales in comparison when she drank mine..
lol..
then i came up with an analogy for it..
like when we have tasted God's love, everything else pales in comparison..
Amen!!

the beautiful night sky

the paranomic view of our frontview..
magnificent?

me posing..
lol..

sihua posing..
she looks tired..
take good care of yourself..

trying to get the best zi pai position
lol..

guess how did we take this pic?
lol..

paranomic view of our backview..

to those who don't really like to reflect about things.. it would be good for you to reflect and make sense of what has happened.. and don't let it slip away from your hands.. cos it will just keep coming back until the day you really have learned your lessons..

btw, the answer to how did we take that second last photo is we used a timer to take it one.. lol.. a bit bo liao eh.. can just ask pple to help us take.. but it was fun.. lol..

just want to end with a verse to encourage people and remind myself.. =)

"22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does."

- James 1:22-25 -

God's great love is the sweetest thing you can ever taste...
Love,
Naomi
