thankful...

sick yet thankful..
you must be thinking i am crazy eh.. fell sick still can be thankful about it.. and my grandaunt had this mentality.. she thinks that i waste money to go overseas to fall sick when i came back.. but to me, i felt that i never wasted any money at all.. it was all worth it.. to go on this leadership conference (LC) at Kuching, Sarawak.. really experienced God greatly and learn a lot from the leaders.. if God had not sustained me, i think i would not have been greatly ministered and also might end up being quarantine over at Kuching.. lol.. cos frankly have not rested well since Uni-YA camp.. sort of expected myself to fall sick actually.. thank God the sickness only became full blast when i came home.. also want to thank Him for sustaining me during service and speaking to me.. it was really a torture cos i was really feeling very sick.. want to thank my cg for their prayer.. and the caring brothers and sisters who looked out for me during the LC..

will share more about Uni-YA camp and LC in time to come when i recover..

sometimes as Christians we forget that Christianity is not a religion and we need to go beyond religion.. cos God called us to love and show compassion.. love Him and love His people.. whether they are lost or found.. we are to have compassion especially for the lost.. cos that is His heartbeat.. if we really is growing in our relationship with Him.. we will know His heartbeat.. and the things that break His heart will indeed break ours..

control...

letting off control is probably the most beautiful thing to happen..

has this thought ever crossed your mind? even if it have, the chances i would say would be seldom.. cos as human beings, we like to be in control.. not because we really do have the control.. but because we are scared of what is to come and scared of losing control.. even though nothing exactly is in our control.. except the actions that we take and the decisions that we make..

letting go of the control that we tightly hold on to is what we need to do.. cos in reality we are just struggling to grasp the air.. God is the one that is in control.. and we need to let Him be who He is.. let Him do what He do best.. we just need to trust in Him and have faith.. make the right decisions and do the right things with the right understanding behind.. if we can't do them or make them, we need to make sense of why we can't.. to make sense and learn from the situations and things that happened.. rather than thinking how can we be in better control the next time round.. remember that let go is never a passive thing to do.. faith and deeds should come together.. :)

such a beautiful song.. this song came into my mind when i was doing my things.. reminded of God's love for me.. cos He first love me then can i love.. and learn to love let He loves.. i can live a new life cos of what He has done on the cross and has given up His life.. because He forgives me then can i forgive.. He is my first love, first breath and first joy.. no one can take it from me.. unless i choose to give it up myself.. thank You, God for reminding me to always to go back to You.. to the source of everything.. and to be more of You and less of me.. dying to myself each day..
